This is where you guys can come to check out what's happening with us and what we're up to and what we're going to be up to.

Monday 23rd June 2008

Ok, so it's been a good month since this has been updated I've had the updates sitting in my inbox and I've been too busy (mostly lazy) to put my powers of god to work and update this darned thing but here it is (see below incase you didn't already figure it out).

So, down to buisiness aye?
2 nights ago we played Rockstock 3 which was a MASSIVE success I even got recognised as "Mitch the drummer from Zero Logic" and got hugged by not 1 but "3" completely strange girls! and 1 guy... (at the same time). Unfortunately but rather comically Pat (unfortunately) broke his guitar IN HALF after throwing it at his amp when we weren't allowed to play Your Slave to finish off our set. Oh well... not grunge unless we break shit!!

So at RS4 (if we get stage one) we're recording the 2 live tracks for our E.P which aren't decided yet so you guys will have to go absolutely fucking NUTS for us and get your voices heard on our E.P!! Price is yet to be determined for it but looking like it's going to be $8 or $10 and a special discount for (we haven't decided what the discount will be for yet; suggestions perhaps?) So at our next gig speak up raise your voices so we can hear you!

Well after my van was written in a horrible car accident I was in a month ago I've brought myself an old school 1987 Wagon (fuck yeah) and this is now (unoficially) the bands new transport vehicle, but it certainly looks ALOT cooler!

Additionally I will put up some new pictures of the wreckage of my Van after the accident, my new car, the pictures of the bass guitar Chris destroyed onstage and the guitar Pat broke in half at RS3.

Well it's 12:37 Monday morning I best go to bed have school in the morning.

Our debut E.P. is underway!!
We have successfully recorded 4 of the 6 tracks that will be on the CD last week at Tommirock recording studio; Thanks Joel. All 3 of us are really happy with how they sound. The last 2 songs will be recorded at a live show most likely next month we’ll keep you posted about that one!

Cover art is done – but you’ll have to wait until the E.P’s out to see that. (hahaha!)

The songs we recorded in the studio are now on our Myspace
www.myspace.com/zerological - click here to get the first taste of our next CD!

On Saturday we’re playing the recorded songs & some others at an all ages festival in Newcastle (see gig guide) hope to see you there!

Sunday 25th May 2008

Today Zero Logic jammed about 10-15 brand new songs, being a typical “new song session” we laughed, we argued, we agreed & then played till we dropped!
After a couple of hours of cranking some new ideas, we decided to scrap the ones that either we felt didn’t sound ‘Zerologicish’ or just simply sucked something fierce haha.
However we agreed to keep working the bugs out of about 6 or 7 & we’re really happy with how they’re sounding so far – some don’t have a title or even lyrics yet but hopefully we’ll get to blast some of them live for you guys before the year’s out!

Thanks for reading.

Last night we played 2 shows in our Newcastle… one all ages “Rockstock” & one over 18s.
I have to admit I under-estimated our under 18s crowd, but you went off! We couldn’t be happier with the way that gig went, thanks heaps Newcastle!
The over 18s gig was a cool cranking of hard rock on a Saturday night… all in all it was a great Saturday night… tiring… but we’d do it all again!!

OK!! I've been working now for 11 1/2 hours straight and I've come up with this!!
If you look to your left there is now a "Gallery" button and yes you've probably guessed it takes you to a photo gallery. Now go have a look I haven't spent 8 hours on it for nothing.

Also if you've been here before you'd notice in the "Music" area of the site that if you used Fire Fox you couldn't play the music (it only worked with Internet Explorer... So because I'm a Fire Fox user I couldn't stand for this and spent 3 hours finding a new multi-track player and came up with what you see under the "Music" area. So go have a look you'll find that the entirety of our demo "Cubette" has been uploaded so go have a look and enjoy listening!

Also on a separate note, all the e-mail addresses attached to this website (mitchellpatterson@zerologic.com.au for example) are now working and the subsequent members will now recieve your e-mails.

Thanks Guys

Well where to start?
On Sunday we played a gig down in Bowral. The community there is incredible. Some many awesome bands so many awesome people. Killer crowd in an AWESOME venue.. what more can I say? It was an incredible night and we'd do it all again at the drop of a hat.

Well we've been pricing some recording time and it looks like we might be doing our EP earlier then we thought we might thanks to Tommirock studios. So far our EP will consist of 4 songs yet to be announced and 2 live recording from our Bowral gig yet to be decided cost will probably be around $5 but no promises.

Right now I'm working on the website your currently reading.

Thanks Guys
Mitch
